Dear Duncan, I hope you realize my testimony (and that of about 79 others) was instrumental in helping to get the ban on beekeeping in NYC overturned. I appeared before the NYC Dept. of Health on Feb. 3, for their public hearings and gave a version of a speech I had emailed to them earlier for their records. It was a rousing success, if I do say so myself, and left the crowd clapping and shouting. "Martha's" beekeeper was so impressed, he invited me to take his beekeeping course for free! The text of the speech is available in the February installment of www.thetoonmoosegardenblog.blogspot.com
if you care to judge for yourself.
